Assessing the Occupational Health Hazards and Safety Practices in Nigerian Construction Sites

Construction work is considered one of the most dangerous and hazardous occupations in the world. The construction industry is fraught with various occupational health hazards and safety risks that can lead to severe injuries and fatalities. Nigeria, like many developing countries, has experienced significant growth in its construction industry. However, little is known about the state of occupational health and safety (OHS) practices in Nigerian construction sites. Therefore, this study aims to assess the OHS hazards and safety practices in Nigerian construction sites through a questionnaire survey.
